Who are we?

The Sunset Community Band looks like a concert band, but we primarily perform outdoors. We perform at a lot of local community events in the Sunset and in the city. Our music ranges from traditional concert pieces to popular movie soundtracks, oldies, and contemporary music. If this sounds like your jam, come join us!

In the last year, our small but mighty community band has grown to over 40+ people! We are still on the lookout for musicians, but some of our sections are full. 

We still have space for

• Woodwind players

• Brass players

• Percussion players

Please email sunsetcommunityband@gmail.com if you are interested in participating as a musician or volunteer for other positions! We currently rehearse on Tuesday nights from 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM. Location TBD. 

We are also looking for folks to help us with admin tasks, marketing, music library/organizing, concert logistics, etc.
